online<\/a> only.<\/p>\nTitle: The Dynamic Turn in Strategy Logics: On Individual and Group Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\nAbstract.<\/em> I will introduce the research agenda of \u2018dynamifying\u2019 logics for strategic reasoning (or, strategy logics) like Coalition Logic and Alternating-Time Temporal Logic by extending them with model-transforming modalities. This endeavour is inspired by the success of Dynamic Epistemic Logic (DEL), which allows one to reason about the effects of various types of private and public communication events on agents\u2019 knowledge and beliefs. Needless to say, models of DEL and of strategy logics are quite different and capture different aspects of multi-agent systems. However, I will argue that intuitions from DEL can be useful in defining interesting model transformations for strategy logics. As a specific example, I will present one of our earlier papers on extending strategy logics with model-transforming modalities that correspond to granting and revoking abilities for agents. I will then discuss some limitations of the framework, as well as some further results. As an ultimate informal goal of this research agenda I envision the collaboration between researchers in the DEL and strategy logic communities, as, I believe, they have a lot to offer to each other.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Speaker: Rustam Galimullin (University of Bergen)
