On 13 February 2024, postdoctoral researcher Andrew McIntyre presented the SOLARIS project to members of the AI, Media and Democracy Lab at the University of Amsterdam as part of the Lab's regular TuesdAIs knowledge exchange event. The presentation focused on the project's unique theoretical approach to analysing the production, circulation and reception of AI-generated media online, prompting further discussion among researchers on the political and epistemological issues raised by AI-generated media.
