SOLARIS at L'Europa che verrà

Presentation of SOLARIS project by Luigi Silvestri Head of ANSA BU Inernational Bussiness Unit at L'Europa che verrà: i risultati raggiunti e le sfide da affrontare on April 3rd 2024 

On 3 April 2024, within the European Parliament in Brussels, ANSA organized the event "l'Europa che verrà", moderated by the director of the Agency Luigi Contu. Among the panelists at the event, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Italian Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, along with two political and institutional panels discussed the future of Europe and its challenges ahead. 

The topics covered during the forum included fears about threats to information in view of the European elections, the prospects for common defense and economic governance and the importance of participation and civic engagement. In the introduction of the ANSA event, Luigi Silvestri, Head of the International and Business Unit, presented the SOLARIS project, underlining the importance of the fight against disinformation, highlighting how the purpose of the SOLARIS project is to establish regulatory innovations to detect and mitigate the risks of deep-fakes that threaten our democracies.
