Join the "AI for Good" Workshops
Help shape the future of ethical AI and deepfakes in education and society
Artificial Intelligence is changing the world - but how can we ensure it's used for good? Join our interactive, co-creative online workshop and become part of a Europe-wide conversation on how AI-generated media, like deepfakes, can support positive societal change.
This workshop is part of the SOLARIS project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme. Together, we explore the risks and opportunities of deepfakes while promoting digital democracy, inclusion, and educational innovation.
What is the workshop about?
In this 2-hour online workshop, you’ll join a diverse group of participants to:
- Discuss your thoughts and perceptions of deepfakes.
- Watch and evaluate AI-generated deepfake videos
- Reflect on how AI tools can help address global challenges, such as:
- Climate action
- Gender equality
- Health and well-being
- Access to quality education
- Brainstorm ideas for how deepfakes and AI-generated content can be used ethically and effectively in education and public engagement.
Through creative exercises, open discussions, and group mind-mapping activities, we will explore how these technologies can empower digital citizenship and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Your ideas will directly inform policy recommendations to the European Commission and contribute to research on digital democracy and the ethical use of AI in Europe.
Why is this important?
AI-generated videos (deepfakes) are becoming more realistic and more common. While they pose risks—such as misinformation—they also offer exciting possibilities for education, civic engagement, and storytelling.
By joining this workshop, you’ll help us explore:
- How we can use deepfakes responsibly
- What ethical boundaries need to be defined
- How AI can serve the public good
Your insights will help shape an ethical framework for the future of AI-generated media in Europe.
