Title: ‘The notions of Proof in French Civil Law: a logical analysis“
Abstract: In this talk, we present an ongoing work about how to formalise the different notions of proof in French civil code. We first need to distinguish between their different probative force and value. Next, we link the concept of probative force and value with the notion of (epistemic) trust using Rodenhauser’s work. This allows us to model legal procedures using justification models.
