After a long break, this Monday 8th of June at 15:00 hrs we will our next seminar’s sessions. This time, Paolo Turrini will give a talk about “Updating Coalition Structures: some issues and some results” (abstract follows). After the talk, further discussions about the topic and other dynamic business can take place with some drinks!
The meeting will take place in room A1.14 of the new residence of the ILLC (Science Park 904).
Coalition Logic does not explicitly talk about the effects of a coalitional move on the ability of the remaining players, while in Game Theory reasoning patterns involving this concept often occur. To fill this gap, I will present an update operator for Coalition Structures, discussing its formal connections with Dynamic Epistemic Logic together with its use to reason about game-theoretical notions like undominated choice.
