Title: Evidence-based belief revision in social networks
Abstract: We are profoundly social creatures, and we keep communicating with each other in social networks. In particular, we change our beliefs based on learning, learning others’ beliefs and sharing the ground of their beliefs. In this talk, we will provide a logic model to discuss how social relations between agents play a crucial role in such situations.
The talk is based on the joint work with Baltag and Smets.
